Thank goodness for co-working spaces
I’m so grateful that there are coworking spaces. Much more that there are some nearby!
I don’t need to report to the office. I don’t need to be “rude” in my own home when I say that I can’t be disturbed.
Sure, I play games on the PC. But that doesn’t mean that I play games ALL THE TIME!
Folks at home don’t get that what I do on the computer is study/work-related. Just because I’m on a computer what I do is easy. Most of the time, it’s not. And it’s hard to get back in momentum when I’m asked to answer the door.
“Oh, back in the day, we had to get up early and beat the commute traffic.”
Blah blah blah.
Let me just pack my laptop and I’ll be on my way elsewhere.
If you can’t change the people around you. Change what’s around you.
Sigh. This place is nice. It’s just me and the receptionist.
Time to get to work.
